Here is a simple cucumber tomato salad we always have made since a child and has always meant summer to me.
Grab some cucumbers, take a fork and score them length wise.
When you slice them up it makes those fancy restaurant grooves, now you know the secret.
Grab some tomatoes.
and cut them up into bite size pieces.
Grab a onion.
and chop it up.
Grab some supplies for the dressing, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
I use a 1:1 ration of vinegar to oil and season to taste
the secret ingredient!
Coat it well with parmesan cheese.
and toss it well
It’s best to let it set overnight for the flavors to blend together, I could eat that whole bowl!
