We have track lighting all through the business, have been running 40 watt halogens for years, Newsettler swapped them out with low wattage LED's the second week of April and we were able to cut our bulbs by half due to the brightness of them. Here are the results for the first two months.

April 2014 5436 KwH

April 2015 4642 KwH

May 2014 6031 KwH

May 2015 4835 KwH

I will update throughout the summer to see how much the savings are.

I think we had 60 40 watt halogens and we now have less than 30 6 watt LEDS

What did it cost to buy the lights and how much are you saving a month? We have been slowly replacing all of our lights with LEDs. I love them.

like 7 bucks apiece after rebate, we are seeing a savings of 150-200 a month on electric, these are on 24/7

We keep them on for security reasons.  we have been broken into 4 times over the last 10 years.

We're renovating one of our rooms and just put in overhead lighting.  We decided to put in LEDs for the long term cost savings.  The bulbs themselves were $30 each not including the housing. Glad we only have 6!

yeah the prices seem to be all over the place, we have one issue with our rheostat switches where if they are not in the correct setting or there are too many bulbs then they start strobing like a night club, I guess they make a special switch just for the LED's
