Seems something tried getting into my chicken coop last night, heard the chickens squawking around 10 pm, grabbed the night vision and looked into the coop, couldn't see anything in there but when I went to feed the animals this morning saw tracks all over the the fresh snow. Looks like a skunk to me. Game on.

When you say  "game on"  what you mean is you are gonna have a HEART and trap and relocate the poor hungry half starved animal?  :)

I did that with last summers skunk, it wasn't pestering our animals so I let it go. The pic above is the last time we had a skunk in our coop. It's going to be disposed of.

Was laying in bed last night and my wife came in and said she hears something at the barn.

Yeah, they are called cows I replied

After ducking the shoe thrown at me I went outside and couldn't hear anything, so I walked along the path and looked down towards the coop and saw the biggest skunk I've ever seen trying to get through the gate, it saw me and started shuffling down towards the barn

So I grabbed my 22 and scope and went down there and couldn't find it anywhere, so guess I'll set up the trap for this evening.

That big huh? To me thats almost like shooting a big buck; you really want to but its kid of a shame since to get that big they gotta be a real survivor.
