I really like the use of materials throughout the project - the old cardboard for the templates, the 45degree screws for fastening (need to get the tool for that). Makes me feel embarrassed for ever throwing away a scrap of wood.

Man, that looks sharp! You could a barn from the scrap I have burned or thrown away during the 2 home remodels I have done... I need to get better about making cool stuff for the house out of scrap like that.

K, is it an older style one? They had a lot of wood burning ones in Puerto Mont, Chile and I thought about trying to ship one home. Unfortunately, I'd have to say that the air quality in the city was not so great as a result. Otherwise, the smell was lovely and the climate was perfect to just keep them running all day.

I can imagine the field day my insurance company would have if we got a stove like that
