Possibly. I'm not sure which is better. Blow more hot air faster -- but it cools the water more or blow air slower but not cool down the water as much.

I really need to get someone out to blow some insulation in two areas of the garage roof that are uninsulated. They are underneath a non-living part of the attic and since we have had our first snow you can see where I am losing a lot of heat through the roof. I don't think it would take much and it should be easy to blow in but getting the company out here is my roadblock. Don't know who to call and it is hard to find vendors off of Google.

I did the Home Depot for the blown in insulation...they let you borrow the machine...went okay...wear a respirator and goggles, when it gets blowing around it gets everywhere...at least a 2 man job, one on the nozzle and one feeding the machine and breaking up the clumps with a stick.

Does home depot's machine have the water nozzle with it?

Not here in my area.  I had a pretty cheap machine (free for the use since I bought the insulation from them)  The only on off switch was at the unit and you couldn't yell loud enough to the guy on the ground to shut it off since the machine was kind of loud...also, breaking up the insulation took my ground guy some time and effort, the insulation is definitely compacted when it comes out of the bags.

In the end it did what I needed it too.

I could never understand adding the water, I mean I understand the concept to get it to stick but that just seems like a bad idea
