Maybe I'm thinking this wrong, I came across this

interesting idea for converting a cargo trailer into a mini camper, build a kitchen at the end

could put a tent over the back door patio

with a little room in the front

Found this on CL

1997 mallard tagalone bunk house 24 foot - $3100

2005 Bunkhouse camper - $3000

2004 Wildwood LE 25' Forest River - $3000

Prices on all 3 of these units are good. Middle one might be a scam. It doesnt let you build your own. But use these a reference to how much one would cost to build. Probably save a bunch just buying a nice condition used travel trailer.
