what tips do you guys got? Newsettler laughed and made a vulgar comment when I picked these knee pads up the other day, but for kneeling on cold cement they are a must imo

Knee Pads...yes, I would rip on you big time.  However, I need to get a HF pair for my build.  At some point we have too many birth days and the knees ache.  Besides, just kneel down on a stone, nail, whatever...or do a tile job.

My biggest safety issue is to actually wear safety glasses .  I wear eye glasses and it is hard to find safety glasses that work well with eye glasses ... and full face shields are a pain (unless I am grinding)

about 150-175...the full goggles work best but can get foggy...plus the prescription eye glasses still chip and ultimately the lenses get messed up too...still trying to find some happy middle ground.

Thought I'd chime in on this:

Quality gel knee pads when kneeling more than once (repeated activity).

Ear plugs for repeated circular saw or jig saw use

Respirator (cheapo white one) for repeated circular saw jig saw or miter saw use

Safety glasses at all times basically - Oakley M3.0 ballistic ones - You've only got two eyes

Gloves - task and weather dependent. For digging and such I use leather, for building and lifting wood I use general ones, for painting, caulking, and any chemical stuff I use nitrile.

Back brace - black velcro one - any repeated lifting or if my back is bothering me.

I've had enough injuries that I try to be proactive about safety.
