Ok. I might have to splurge and get an extra wine barrel.

would make a pretty cool terrarium.

Our favorite little irish pub in town burnt in a suspicious fire about 3 years ago. Then when they were just about ready to reopen, it burned again. Apparently that's what happens when the boss shows up unexpectedly, doesn't like what he sees, and fires EVERYBODY working that night, both front and back of the house (take note K!).

Anyway, after the second fire he packed it in and sold off everything. They had these very cool wine barrel tables, bar stool heights. I was third in line at the sale, on a mission. I was able to get my name on three before they were all gone. Other people had the same plan, lol. HEAVY as lead, they have to be oak.

I need to refinish them. at least 20 years of bar funk. Just taking up space in my garage right now. But theyre a pretty cool. They are a little piece of history from our little town, and a piece of our personal history as well. When we first started dating we both lived about a block from the place. We went there ALL the time. Our relationship started at those tables. Gave one to my old partner on the ambulance as it was also one of his favorite places as well.
