Pork. What do you think about using 2 quality pallets for the carryall? Bolt a pressure treated 2x4 to the frame and just screw the pallets onto it. That way they can be easily removed and replaced if need be.

A lot of people just slide a pallet on the carry all and use the frame as forks. They will build a firewood box out of pallets (or buy used apple boxes) and use the carry all to move them around.
I think it would work just fine. May limit how you carry stuff and what you can strap down but it won't be a big deal. Watch for rot if parked outside and it isn't a treated pallet.
