Lol. I suckered new settler into buying some of the posts and rails. I mean I sold some high quality slightly used fencing.

finally got everything cleared out

I think tonight I'm going to move the fence we put up last summer, it doesn't line up very well with the workshop

I'm going to run a string line from the end post to just the right of the door on the barn and move the fence over to line up with it

I'm then going to put the gate at the post and be able to remove all the fencing and the gate that we currently have around the front of the cabin, should open the yard up quite a bit

K -- are these the same as your Dexters? Is there a difference between your mini-dexters and regular dexters? Looks like someone is looking to get rid of a herd.

just the size, if they are reg they will get bigger faster, we are going to raise ours till next year, I brought someone back the other night who raises cattle, they said at 19 months like ours are, the meat will be like veal, they recommended raising to at least 24 months or more. Which is going to be a much larger steer than we have.

phase 2 of the yard has been kicking in the last couple days, been having some exploded ledge dropped off and have been working on building a pathway out through the woods so I can start letting the boys out there, we got about 200 feet of road built up so far

the boys are not impressed

got some more ledge dropped off yesterday, looks like I'll be spending the day on the tractor

I do have to take down that dead tree in the corner, but I am a little concerned about it. I took down a smaller one like it this winter and the top snapped off and I almost got taken out. Might have to call a professional for this one.

didn't get the tree down, got tied up with some other stuff so it was getting pretty late in the day. So we did our cuts and wedged it, need to go pick up some cable so I can winch it down today. Luckily nothing came down crashing into me
