lol...but you got pallets!...I really would use them for a fence out back...can't really see any detail in the pic there, but I think I see some zip ties on the pallets!

I am more of a bailing wire and duct tape guy.

Looks like phase 2 should be starting next week, now with the ducks, all the dogs and with our experience with the cows the past two years the fencing layout needs to be adjusted some, so back to the post hole digging I go.

Don't forget a few bags of concrete and throwing them on the ground!

So my wife and daughter went to PA for a couple weeks and we boarded the puppies during that time, way too much for me to handle by myself so it was a perfect time to get the yard done.

Started by taking down the cattle panels, man the pond is looking sad, major project for next spring, going to fill in the shallow end and line it

And removed the gate and  fencing along the front

Decided to cut back the curve

and reset the posts to come straight out

We replaced the cattle panels with cedar by dropping some cement in a hole of course!

And started laying new posts straight across to the workshop

Which opens a lot of room for the dogs

Hung the gate the next morning

And started running fencing back to the pasture

This 10 foot gate is going to make getting the tractor through much easier

I love this picture for some reason

Added all the gates

Put one in the far back corner as well with the idea that I can let the pigs out into the inner garden area in the fall for clean up duty

We also reset the old gate and replaced it with a filled in one

Spacing didn't quite work with the pond gate so there is some overlap

We threw a gate on the drive through and put up pressure treated plywood to create a temporary holding area for moving the animals

rough idea of the new layout
