The housing market is still pretty good over here; the two other houses that have sold in my sub this year have gone for full asking price and have been sold within the first two weeks of listing.

congrats on the new job.  i love the west side of michigan-great river fishing, best great lakes beaches and lighthouses, decent deer hunting on state land around grand rapids.  all of my extended family is from g.r. so it's like going home.

LOL We will probably rent for a few months until we find the right place. Since it's not far from Grand Valley State University, there are apartments that rent by the month without a 1 year contract.
