Great place Danger. So you have 2 hay fields do you grow and store your own hay for the horses? Is your sister still living in the Yome? What were here thoughts on it?

Yeah we usually do our own hay. Our tractor was broken this year so we didn't get out there in time

My sister has actually moved on and currently lives elsewhere. Hurricane Sandy was not kind to their Yome and since they didn't have the snow supports it totally caved it in. There's a pic around here somewhere I just can't find it right now.

Laughing!

We got the rest of the potatoes planted, most of the tomatoes and peppers. A bed ready for beans. Pretty hot out today.

I have not enjoyed buying hay this winter. Although we found some that was affordable, it was still a financial burden. I don't expect a great hay crop this year because the field got a bit weedy. But hopefully we can get something in!

Interesting idea. We are thinking of different things to do with it. I'm having a hard time getting past some of my emotion about it
