So someone hit our fence yesterday and/or moved some of the pieces of the fence out of the way to back up? Not sure what they were thinking but my posts were pushed and some of the pieces were 5 feet away but relatively undamaged. May be time to try and push for a security camera now. I am pissed that I have to go fix the fence instead of trying to finish the chicken coop up.

that stinks, stuff like that infuriates me, Rinkus and the neighbor dropped some trees across the end of our road because people were going back there mudding and tearing up the road, people have no respect for others property

Well, it gives me the motivation to put up a security camera. My driveway alert was beeping like crazy and from a distance, and through the trees, I could see a truck backing up out of our driveway and leaving. I never thought the guy smashed my fence and was driving away. Having a camera there would help me see what is going on at the end of the drive and maybe even get a plate #.

I have a trail camera (although closer to the house) that I rarely check. I have it mounted in a locked metal box and it is a pain to go pull the memory card out. If I mounted a trail camera up high enough so it couldn't be stolen I would never check it or change the batteries. I am just too lazy. I think I am going to go with the analog camera @ $35 and the $15 of cable. I will just have it playing live on a TV screen and if I am ambitious enough I may buy a cheap USB video-in cord for my netbook (which runs solar software) so that it can be a minimal DVR-ish set up.
