Reports of a Jeep being hacked gave the world a chilling new look into what types of devices can be controlled remotely. Now, hackers reportedly were able to disable an automatic rifle's scope and make it miss its target.

Two security researches figured out how to hack into one of TrackingPoint's precision-guided, Wi-Fi-enabled sniper rifles, according to the tech website Wired. The $13,000 rifle has a Linux-power, self-aiming system that makes it easier to shoot targets from far away, the report said.
