 I was just googling around before work and found you guys on accident. 

Last fall I bought some acreage with a small house on it and have been fixing things up. While looking for ideas I found ya. I know a little bit about a lot. But still have a lot to learn. 

 

But for now I have to go work another 12 hour day.

23.5 acres. Most of it is timber though. But the price was right.

is it large timber? good sized trees can earn you a nice sized check. When my parents had their land timbered they removed only the large trees and left the others and received around 15k for 30 acres. and the larger trees they had were not very big. something to think about if you ever want to make a clearing and have someone pay you to do it lol

we had some of our land cut off a couple years ago, I was disappointed with how little we made off it, I was expecting much more. I think I got hosed.

Thank you. From the looks of things it had been logged a decade or so ago. The trees that were planted in the center of the wooded area will need another fifteen to twenty years before they're ready to be cut. But some of the surrounding timber might be worth logging in another ten years.
