I'm James, I suck at getting on the net lately. My wife and I had our first child on September 29, 2013. Its been crazy so far but fun.
I suck at homesteading, but have learned a lot through this forum. Would love to get on here more often. Glad to see the site is going strong!!

Im Groin,
I met KVR by following his threads on another forum we both participate in.
Living close to the farming areas in New Jersey (yes there actually are some), I practice gardening, pseudo-homesteading, raising chickens and Im getting started in permaculture design. This year I hope to establish a small food forest and focus more on different techniques to preserve what we grow.
I have no idea what my member number is though...
Oh yeah, I'm still trying to talk my wife into letting me get a goat. KVR has been extremely helpful in this regard. (google Buttermilk the goat if you havent already)
