I did. I was born and raised in NYC (as I've mentioned before). I loved it then, I still love it and miss it. It is inseparable from who I am today and I'm darn proud of that fact. There is so much vibrance and culture and diversity. Frankly, it's a wonderful place to live.

#1 - I don't get it. That's normal on the subway.

#2 - I still weave past people like that when walking... frankly I miss doing it on a daily basis. Of course even by NYC standards I used to walk fast. I've slowed considerably since living away for so long.

#3 - Not true.

#4 - Totally true. Hint: Growing up, Bazooka Bubble Gum was $0.05! Of course I also mastered asking so charmingly I was rarely told no even when there was a sign posted stating that Restrooms were for customers only or No public Restrooms.

#5 - I like Times Square. All sorts of free entertainment by street performers.

#6 - Huh? Garbage? What garbage? And what's being oblivious to interest from the opposite sex got to do with growing up there? What construction? I don't hear a thing!

#7 - True, and yet I never once was quite that chummy with them. In NY, chummy is that weird thing outsiders do. Like, "Why are you waving hello to me? I don't know you!"

#8 - Nope.

#9 - Also nope. Then again, I never got into drinking as a past time.

#10 - WRONG! I grew up there fool! I dun' need no stinkin' car! I didn't even bother trying to learn till I needed a license for a potential job promotion. NY'ers take the subway... everywhere! Furthermore, NY'ers can drive circles around most other states. We have to, traffic congestion, aggressive driving, defensive driving and a 3 point turn (parallel parking) in 2 points are a birth right! I swear, its a genetic trait!

#11 - What the heck is "normal" eating hours? I'm hungry. Feed me!

#12 - I'm not a baseball fan, I'm not a sports fan either, but for the record, OF COURSE the Yankees are my team! As are the Mets, Annnnd the Brooklyn Dodgers! That's right LA, you can rename them the Angels, but they're still a NY team!

#13 - ...crap. Living in Arkansas was not in the life plan. ...Meh.
