Point and Shoot is a documentary about a sheltered man in Baltimore embarking on a remarkable motorcycle journey across North Africa and the Middle East that led him to become a rebel fighter in the Libyan Civil War. His travels took him to Morocco, Mauritania, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan and captured most of his adventures and learning lessons the hard way. Wounded and captured during the war, VanDyke spent nearly six months as a prisoner of war in two of Libya's most notorious prisons, locked away in solitary confinement.

“The difference between a terrorist and a freedom fighter is a matter of perspective: it all depends on the observer and the verdict of history.”
