seen this one before. It shows how far off the deep end some parents can go with it. Every once in awhile I'll get one of these as a player' parent. Two seasons ago I had one. Almost got into it with him at a game because he wouldn't shut up. His kid would throw a pitch (outside about 6 inches from the plate) umpire would call ball and this dude would go nuts.

He'd say "are you SERIOUS??" "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? THAT WAS A PERFECT STRIKE"

After the 2nd warning I gave him, he still wouldn't shut up so I pulled his kid and benched him the rest of the game. Ended up transferring his kid to another team.

I've coached for about 5 years now. I've always made it fun. The kids enjoy playing for me because it's a game we play. I wont allow any of my coaches to yell at them or getting mad when things aren't perfect.

I've got a parent this season (new player) who is under my skin. It seems to me that this guy has been verbally abusing my new player. I believe he is the "step-dad" and the boy is sorta heavy and runs slow.

Any time the "dad" yells something out to the boy (it's always negative) while the boy is trying is hardest, the boy instantly starts to cry. It's bothering me because I think the guy just puts this poor kid down all the time and has for many years. The kid is great too. Decent ball player but great kid and doesn't deserve the insults.

I decided when I first started coaching (and realized I was much better than most who try it) that I was going to put every effort into getting my kids on the High School team and hopefully they will do well enough to earn a scholarship.

Both of my boys are doing great. The entire team I've managed for many season should do well into High School. I hope they all make it. It's why we work so hard during practices. I want them to succeed.

I would be happy with you as a coach, I have seen way to many coaches let it slide or worse let the screaming parents over ride their decision making, the worst was when the screaming parent was the coach of one of my daughters softball teams, he thought his daughter was the babe ruth of community ball, I spoke with the board several times about it and it was never addressed, I think they were afraid of him, so I had a talk with him one night after a game when he snapped at my daughter and a group of girls riding the bench for laughing while his future hall of famer and her friends played every inning, I don't think he ever said one word to my daughter again lol
