Easy French Bread Recipe

I came across a easy french bread recipe the other day and have been meaning to try it out. My wife decided she wanted sandwiches for dinner the other night, well then, I’m gonna make the bread!

I put  2.5 cups of warm water in the bowl

and dumped in 2 tbsp of yeast and sugar into it

I grabbed some flour and salt

and dumped in 5.5 cups of flour and a tsp of salt

I grabbed my olive oil

and poured in a couple tbsp

mixed it all up

and covered it with a damp cloth

and stuck it on the woodstove to proof

so after letting it proof, I divided in half

formed some loaves

threw them in the woodstove for about 25 minutes or so

and made some dagwood sandwiches

It was good!
