Just in case it ever comes up in conversation this is what 300 lbs of lead looks like in sheets.
It equates to a little over 18,250 115gr 9mm bullets or 10500 200gr 308 bullets. Truth be know I was planning on lining the inside of my walk in vault with it, but when you are talking about lead 300 lbs won't go as far as you would tink. I paid 80 cents a pound for it at a local scrap yard. They had two pallets of the stuff just like this totaling 4k lbs. I have to put some thought into what to do with it. Just keep it like this, line a small portion of my vault or melt it down into smaller units.

and How the heck did you get that off the truck?

I do have a sinker mold, but even I dont fish that much. I have been driving around with it in the back of my truck for the last several days waiting for the ground to firm up enough to get my tractor forks so I can unload it. Its in three separate pieces but its like carrying dead weight.
