sweet, they were used during ww2 in europe due to fosil fuels being scarce, there is a ton of cool old pictures on the web of them

KVR, if our welder friend ever has his distillery equipment business slow down a little I bet he could build something like that. It might be a neat project to convert a generator to run off it.

I will contribute my generator as test subject for the project, I was thinking of getting the propane conversion kit anyways

We may be better off picking up a cheapo used lawn mower engine off CL to get started with. It looks like it would be easy to screw up an engine before the byproduct issues are minimized. After we get it figured out we can do yours and if that doesn’t blow up then we’ll do mine.
