this is a pretty hot topic in the "green" movement, how much inherent energy there is in concrete and manufacturing of ICF's, one side says no way, now how, the other side says they far exceed and offset the energy needed to produce with the amount of energy they consume, the thing I hear from people up here that have them is they can heat their house with a match

Pretty incredible. Would love to live in a net zero house. Heck, I would be happy to just improve the efficiency of my current one!
