according to the internet, this is a hoax.

we DID however learn that if you take apart a 9volt battery, there really are a bunch of AAAA batteries in there. AND we learned that if you hook 4 of them into a sequence and attach to an EMS pager, you will produce alot of smoke (smelled REALLY toxic) and the pager will never work again.
