Hi all,

Okay, hubby and I would LOVE to add solar to our house (we're currently attached to the grid but we're working to lessen our dependence on it).  Before we take the full plunge however on our house, we're thinking of starting with getting our garden shed on solar power so that way we have light in there when we need it (usually while working with seeds/seedlings or processing the rabbits we raise for meat) as well as being able to charge power tools in there for convenience sake.

I'm thinking we don't need more than two panels and possibly two to three batteries.

I am completely new to electricity and power, other than being shocked numerous times in the past, so I'm a bit nervous but I want to give this a try and I don't want to have to run an electrical wire back from the main house to the shed.

Thoughts?
