brainstorming a solar/cooker dehydrator | Alternative Energy | Forums

thinking of redoing my solar dehydrator, I'd like to make one that can be used as a dehydrator and a cooker, my idea is a super insulated box with louvered air intake and exhaust, that way you can close them up, use as a cooker, open them up for air flow for dehydrating

I know the sun oven has a dehydration kit available, it looks to me though that it's just racks you can use in it and you regulate temp by cracking the top but I don't see a way for air flow

anyone know of any other commercial units I can eye ball for ideas?
