That thing is weak sauce. This one has suspension, is 12V, and jacked up.

Dude, I am way too heavy for that thing. My boy has been riding that thing around the land in high gear. He won't even consider driving in the slower gear. Unfortunately, it is getting a max of 1 hour of driving time. I think I need to work on charging it with solar -- the included battery charger only pulls 15 watts when it is charging -- I think I could rig something up to charge it much faster than the ordinary 14 hours (!).

It works very well. My son loves riding on it and it has given him a reason for going outside and exploring -- something he was hesitant to do before. It is also strong enough to have 3 kids riding on it. So, it is a good fit out here. We charge the battery daily and it takes surprisingly little power to juice up. I am going to look around for a quick charger that will use more power but charge up the battery in 2 hours vs. the 12+ hours it takes now at 15 watts. That way it can charge when the sun is shining vs draw all night.

It is also pretty good offroad. They drive through the forest where it is flat, over large mounds of dirt, etc. It is also light enough that they can push it or pull it if they get it stuck somewhere.

would it be cheaper to get a extra battery and charge it when your solar battery bank is full?
