you know I was thinking of trying to build a rocketstove in my house, I think I like this idea as well, would be a lot quicker and easier and I would imagine have a huge impact on our wood usage

Would you be able to build a rocket stove to code in your area? I do not think I would be able to do so here but would love to be able to do so.

I have seen a rocket stove advertised in the Canadian Tire store, but I do not think it would be as good as building your own as with the diy version you will be able to build your thermal mass.

I'd love for the code to catch up to 'modern' times but I won't be holding my breath. Until then I'll save me rocket mass stove dream for my future workshop.
