I decided to order a bio-diesel generator from american bio-diesel, with our business it makes perfect sense, we generate about 15 gallons of wvo a week, so we already produce the basic ingredient, we will use this to heat our business.

Jeremy from american bio-diesel was a great help and answered all my questions

we had it delivered today

We service a bunch of restaurant in our area. olive gardens and red lobsters, outbacks and such. They have containers by the dumpsters that they dump the oil into. A company must provide those containers in exchange for the oil or they pay for disposal. I have a diesel truck and this interests me, but how much oil would I need access to on a regular basis to even consider this? Don't even know if I could get the oil legally.

I also read on the duramax forum not to even consider running it in your truck, because of injector harm. I think I may have an injector problem now and it may be 4-5k to fix it. I would be scared to run the fuel in my truck, but i know people do.

what type of heater do you plan to put this fuel into? need to modify existing equipment?......................sorry for so many questions

years ago the waste oil companies would pick it up for free, since the explosion in wvo and bio-diesel they now pay us,

my understanding with a diesel you can just run straight wvo through it

from talking with jeremy at american bio there is no mods needed, we are going to use it to heat our business with, we have a boiler. I contacted jeremy about doing a podcast on bio diesel and he agreed to do it, I am going to try and do it in the next couple weeks, any specific questions let me know, or you can hop on and ask him directly if you would like

Duramax injectors are about $500 each and depending on the engine model can be a huge pain to to change out. The older diesels have cheaper injectors and are easier to swap out. I looked into it and would stear clear of using it with newer diesels.
