The EnergyBridge give you access to solar power and backup energy in one seamless package. Chances are you are interested in adding solar power to your home. Simply adding solar panels does not give you backup energy. All of that changes with the EnergyBridge. It keeps solar power working for you; no matter what the weather. It works in two ways; the EnergyBridge connects solar power to your home, offsetting your power bill and saving you money. The EnergyBridge also makes solar power available for backup power when you need it most.

This device manages solar, battery, and the power company in one unit. You get the benefit of energy savings every day and the peace of mind by having reliable backup power. When it comes to affordability and features there is simply no other product on the market that comes close to the EnergyBridge.

Like the idea of having it all in a box. The trouble here is, it is a new product trying to find a way into the market place, which means it has not been tested under conditions mandated for this type of product. Having said that, it is most likely reliable. Most electrical parts are never guaranteed by the manufacturer, because there is no way of knowing they will work properly, or at all until you try them. So there is a buyer beware, but the idea seems sound. I would think these guys have a great product. As much as I am ready to make the move to "Solar Power", I am still not in the position to layout the money for a place that I only rent. However; I have considered putting in a back up package for my computer systems. I have a home based business that requires continual computer access to power.

Agreed Old Birch, I see they are selling them on their website already, I think the kickstarter is to get UL approval which will help open the market some I would think. If you are renting, it might be cheaper just to buy a generator for back up power, plus it's always handy to have one around.
