I wonder if this would be a better option than the nesting tube and the pallet build, need to research this more

That would be pretty cool looking in the middle of a pond. Is it weighted down some how to keep it from moving on shore?

probably a anchor I would assume with some slack, I would probably utilize the cement filled bucket that I used for the nesting tube and secure it with that
