I like this idea. We are thinking of parking our chicken coop in a permanent location and building up a fence around it. I was trying to think of ways to provide food from plants in the run -- this looks like a good way.

Pork, I have a fenced in A-frame run right now and I was planning on letting a food producing plant crawl up the south side and have the chickens eat whatever falls from the plant. I also plan on doing some rotating pasture with them on electro-mesh fencing, so I have to figure out how I'll do all of this with minimal work for myself.

I like how the canopy was formed by the vines in the pic KVR posted. A lot of great ideas here!

Where's KE??? Doesnt he see the signal???
