My first season as a ranger I built a dog house for my old malamute Trouble. It was a mini replica of the ranger station we lived in.

Wish I still had pictures, it was pretty awesome. But he went full snoopy on me, never once saw him in the damn thing, often saw him sleeping on top of it.

As far as I know its still there, but it probably fell apart by now, this was 1997. I wanted to take it with me but the senior ranger said "that was built with parks materials, it belongs to the park". He was not interested in my counter point that I was simply wanting to take it to the new park I had been assigned to.
