any ideas to capture a duck?

my wife just called and said one of our ducks has a broken leg, no idea how he got it, it is duck season right now and I've been hearing shooting from the lake all morning, not sure if they went for a flight and got clipped or what

Well just an idea but if you had a hole or could make a ramp to a box, place a blanket over the hole throw bread until he walks over the hole. The blanket should inhibit the bird from flying. Not sure tho.

I think I came up with a plan, the ducks have not flown off yet

so here is what I'm thinking, I am going to take the dog crate and lay it's on the side with the gate on top, brace with firewood and tie a piece of string around, going to tie another piece of string on the gate, stick their feed in it and wait, once they are all in, I pull out the wood, dad pulls on the gate, all ducks captured
