No actually, I was planning on getting a few pigs but I couldn't get their enclosure done in time. In fact, we even lost a few chickens this year so I'm even farther behind than last year. So much stuff to do so little time... I may still go to the auction and see if I can get a couple of pigs on the cheap and get what I can get from them, but there's still a lot of stuff on my plate at the moment; clearing pasture, getting hay in, firewood, tractor repair etc. Hopefully by next spring we'll have things a bit more squared away around here to be able to get stuff done on time.

sorry you lost the birds dd
It's their fault. They don't want to go in, they become a snack. It's been rough to do with my job when my mother isn't here, because I have to try and get them in at like 3:00 pm and they are very resistant to going in 6 hours early. My next project is building a proper run around the coop to eliminate that problem.

I'd be down for some rabbit, goat, and beef, depending on the price of the beef.
Cool. Looks like we won't be doing anything until next year, but I should have most of the leg work done so when spring rolls around I'll be able to just go out and get the animals right away. We're behind on everything this year...
