are they more trouble than they are worth?

 

my sister and her husband have a decent bit of land and the ticks are horrible  i was thinking guinea hens would be a great way to help control the bugs on top of producing eggs and meat if needed

very vocal and great alarm systems, do they have neighbors that will mind the noise? They also like to wander much more than chickens and is the reason why he have not gotten them yet, I have a hard enough time chasing the turkeys and chickens around the neighborhood
