sorry groin, I thought my wife had mailed this last week, I found yours and HFF;s packages in the back of the fj today, I got them shipped out priority, you should have them friday, I stuck the leads inside the unit, I shipped it without the battery as well to save on shipping costs, when I opened it, the negative terminal was pretty corroded which I believe was the issue, you might want to clean it or change it

will do, any questions just ask, get a copper grounding rod instead of galv if you can

your welcome groin, let it charge for 3 days in full sun before you hook it up, just just set the battery on a trickle charger over night if you have one for 6 volt

Not yet. All the literature I could find says to pack it up in the winter. So I built an A-Frame run and attached it to the front of the new coop. Moved them in there yesterday. They seem to like it. My brother's coming from San Diego tomorrow and he ran his whole place on solar so he said he'd help me get this ready for spring.
