I need to go up after while and grab a few new pics. I am amazed at the way they are growing. They were between 2 -3 lbs. some almost 4 lbs at birth. I'd like to bring one to the house and weigh it now at 2 weeks. They feel like they weigh 10lbs each! Pretty sure my sow got herself rebred already. She took it upon herself to go see the boar. The other sow is also rebred. Yay for progress!

ETA: KVR, they are awesome stock in every way. Cannot say enough good things about them. They happily stay where I put them and mind the fences. They root and graze off and on all day. Their main rooting is in wet areas, because they absolutely love crawdads. They love foraging the nuts and roots under trees and beside the water holes. They handled the heat very well by going to the mud to cool off. Very protective moms. However she did step on 2 the first night when coyotes smelled the blood and came to the barn. She was standing guard the whole time she wasnt feeding them. She has only been agressive with Eric one time, the first time he picked one up and it screamed she went nose to nose with him, scared the crap out of me. He talked to her softly and backed up, I think it was a close call. Overall though, she is intelligent enough to know now that he is not hurting them. He pretty much can do anything in there now.
