We fed the daylights out of our cows over the winter and it really shows in their weight. Nobody lost any weight, in fact they grew quite a bit. I'm sure we overfed/ fed more than needed to but its our first time taking them through the cold. And it was a COLD season here. The older cow has gained a LOT of weight! just found out last night my friend lost their 3 year old heifer trying to birth twins, lost the twins as well, they are pretty devastated, this sucks

Aww, that really is sad... one loss is devastating but 3 is a real blow. You just can't guarantee anything in life...
