she's doing good. Getting pretty big. Im waiting until next spring to order the composting worms for the bin underneath her, but as far as collection goes, it seems to be working out.  She does make a mess in her hutch, though.  It needs to be cleaned out once a week at minimum!  Im using straw and newspaper for bedding so at least it's not expensive

Nah, got the hutch on the back deck by the doors so the kids can see her from inside.  The chickens dont come up there, they're to busy picking off boxelder bugs lately.

Try to get my son to help out cleaning the hutch every week. So far he's there 50% of the time and conveniently disappears the other half.
