You can honestly build most of this stuff. A suit isnt really needed, imo. Just smoke them out and dont freak out. I have been stung just once and only wear a hat.

When my dad was thinking of getting into it I got online and found a guy near him who raised them and emailed him. Just flat out asked if he would be willing to mentor my dad. He obliged almost without question, so look for these people. They love bees and want people to do it right.

Call your local university and find out what textbooks and DVDs they teach from. They are not cheap but its good stuff.
