Well after 7 days "tomorrow morning" it will finally be ready to give to the goats and chickens.  I hope they like it.

I think where I have it is too cold so I am moving it to a smaller room where I can control the heat at 70.  I am still experimenting with all this.  :)    How much per bin how deep ect ect..

Very cool. I built a smaller one and used the 2 gal buckets that I had on hand Instead of buying the trays.  One thing I found out that the water has to be changed every few days because it gets really gross.  I also rinse the buckets out with diluted bleach every couple of weeks because they get pretty funky too. 

Hope it works out well for you, it looks great!

how does that work? pumping water from bottom to top and it drains down through?

Yeah, in mine theres a small aquaponics pump that I put on a timer to run for 9 minutes every four hours.  It floods the buckets then they drain into the basin below.

 

@Mainely BJJ,  does yours work the same way?

The trays were like 50 bucks and I had the rest "wood and blue bins to catch water runoff" laying around the house.
