well it's really not new, we just modified one we had. It's been a pain the last couple years when we want to move the animals and such, we have had to borrow trailers and work around other peoples schedules which wasn't ideal. So we had been looking around for a used horse trailer or something, and those have been a couple thousand dollars.

Well we have a cheap tilt up trailer we had bought from home depot 8 years ago, you can see it in the background here

so we decided to make it into a animal trailer

the way these trailers work is the gate flips over and forms a ramp, you can then tilt the trailer so you can drive a lawn mower and such up into it, since we weren't worried about the tilt any more we hinged it and installed a pin to turn it into a back gate

we still got to put some bars across the front and back so the animals can't jump out, but I figured I would share with you guys what we have done so far

well we finally finished it up, we used expanded metal instead of bars to keep the animals from getting out

we bolted the back piece on to we could remove if needed to haul other stuff

I think I might throw a roof rack on it in the spring

Wow that's pretty cool! You going to use it for the pigs now? Do you have other animals you plan on hauling with it?
