Amberlinks... 6 of them. Supposed to be good with kids, get big, lay lots of brown eggs, and be good foragers. Bought from TSC.
I want to be sure we can keep them warm enough... Being offgrid I can't run a heat lamp. So far I have them next to the wood stove and then place a rock from the wood stove in the enclosure. They seem to be doing just fine.
I bought some supplies last year -- the waterer and the food tray. The food tray is way huge and I am thinking of just throwing a small bowl in there.
