once again there are leftovers, so I went and picked out 4, going to move the ducks into the pond, they are getting big enough, did find out something interesting, the farm store has decided to start carrying birds year round, they are going to carry 100 meat and 100 pullets and just reorder when needed, so I don't have to raise 20 in a shot, I think we are going to get in a 4-6 bird monthly rotation and harvest as needed

who does the harvesting?

is it something you think you can/will do in the future?

I have a buddy the does it for about 2 bucks a bird, if we start rotating, we will do it as needed

introducing the turkeys to their protector

after several weeks in the barn, the turkeys were starting to hop out of the brooder to explore, so we moved them up to the big pen

my dad just chilled with them for the rest of the afternoon
