Not sure yet. Watching the "offending" end of her for changes that indicate whether she took. I'm not convinced he figured it out yet. She is treating the blacks like they are her babies... sleeps with them, protects them etc. According to all we read, she appears bred. The boar continues to amaze me with his growth and gentle nature. All 4 pigs came out of the fence gate today and went back in when he told them to...smart critters!!!

Loving...yes I know. I try not to get attached to them because after all, we plan to eat them. I have got to get more of a backbone I guess. Everything can't be a pet. You can't eat meat and pretend it comes from the meat fairy, lol. Our sausage we got back last week is lovely stuff! I had forgotten how superior it is in every way. We hadn't done a hog in about 4 years. Had the whole thing done as sausage since he was small and my guys eat a lot of it. Its so nice to have zero shrinkage in the skillet too. A pound looks like a pound and fries up to almost a pound.
