So as you know I have been feeding my animals barley fodder all winter. At 25$ for 50 lbs of organic seed it isn't bad but the 40 bucks in shipping makes it pricey!!
I ran into a old family friend who lives a mile down the road at our local store yesterday. He has a huge farm and raises organic beef. I was talking about how I had goats and chickens and stuff and fodder ended up coming up in the conversation. I was telling him about the Barley fodder and stuff and he asked what I was paying. After I told him he let me know he buys the same seed 20 ton at a time. LOL
He said he would sell me seed at 15 CENTS a pound!! LOL I told him " as hes a old family friend" I would give him 25 cents and be very thankful for it. He agreed and I am going tomorrow to buy a 100 lbs. This is going to make feeding my animals so much cheaper!!!

I cant believe it. He's gonna get plenty of rabbit and chicken " He raises beef only" as much as he can stand! LOL
