I was thinking about raising bees but was told its a real hassle for a small reward?

thanks! I'll have to compare it to what they are offering for order at the class, it's like $150 for the nuc set up with 5 frames that he will deliver in april, not sure how that compares to 3 lbs of bees

So I just told my dad that they had to fend for themselves this evening for dinner because of the class.
He asked me where and why I was keeping bees, don't they need like orchards and stuff for food

well that was a waste, way to many people. I learned 2 things
Buy this book, seriously, he said this was the best book on beekeeping
And that I had learned more through my podcast with Michael
But I did talk to the manager and might put on a couple classes of my own, overall I give the night a C-
