So I went out to feed the pigs this morning and there was only 2, the littlest one was gone.
I saw where it had burrowed under the back corner and got out into the back field, I started tracking it, found a few rut spots and could see where it went straight into the woods.
So my wife and I started walking back calling, but couldn't see anything, so she decided to run and grab some doughnuts to see if he would come out to a bag shaking. While she was gone, I drove around the neighborhood to see if it was in someones lawn, but didn't see anything.
My dad started walking in the back field while I was on the phone dealing with something, next thing I know when I look up is my dad is gone. My first thought was he had fallen in the field, so I went running back there and all of a sudden he started screaming he found it.
I followed his voice into the woods and the pig was just rutting away in the undergrowth. I tried calling it to get it to come to me, but every time I got close, it moved about 10 feet away, this went on for about a half hour, I was about ready to go grab my .22, I couldn't let this animal run wild, there is a issue going on in Oakland that was just in the Bangor Daily News last week
Police are looking for the pig that they say terrorized a teenager out walking on a trail.
According to Oakland police, a high school girl was coming down a running trail recently behind the Messalonskee High School football field when a pig chased her, squealing at the girl as she was running.
Police want the public to be aware, saying the best way to deal with the pig if they run into it is to keep quiet and get to a safe place.
Police said there have been previous reports of a loose pig in the area, but this is the first report of the pig being aggressive.

Just then he went behind a rock and was rutting in some ferns, it was now or never, so I snuck up on him keeping the rock between me and him, I could hear him on the other side, so I said screw it and dove over the rock and tackled him, he started screaming bloddy murder, as soon as the pigs back in the pen heard him, they started screaming, so I set him over the fence and the other 2 were like "dude, where you been?"
He quickly went to sleep, he was tuckered out from his adventure
So I started laying tape
and hooked up the new solar charger
they each got shocked once and now won't come out of the pen
mission accomplished!
